Reflecting on Our First Annual Mother's Day Brunch

This past weekend, The Suggs Foundation hosted our very first Mother's Day Brunch—a heartfelt celebration dedicated to honoring the strength, love, and resilience of mothers, especially those navigating the journey of raising children with autism.

While we faced a few last-minute changes and challenges due to unexpected booking adjustments, which did impact attendance, the experience was still incredibly meaningful. In the midst of it all, we were able to forge new connections, share stories, and deepen our understanding of how autism touches different lives.

Every conversation, every moment of laughter, and every show of support reminded us why we do this work. We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, showed love, and helped us bring this event to life.

This was just the beginning—and with the lessons we've learned, we’re already excited about planning next year’s brunch. We’re committed to making it even more impactful, inclusive, and unforgettable.
