I will be attending this event in memory of my mother, my baby sister, my auntie, and my cousin. They were all mothers—strong, loving, and deeply human. As mothers, we may not always get it right, but our mistakes shouldn't define us forever.
This is a time to honor their memory, protect their legacy, and carry forward the love and lessons they left behind or what the continue to teach us today. One of the most powerful ways to do that is by making peace, embracing grace, and continuing the work they started.
